Recent projects comprise of land use change monitoring using satellite imagery, urban sprawl models, spatiotemporal analyses of animal-vehical collisons and of deer movements, forest change models, spatiotemporal socioeconomic models, human cognition and spatiotemporal relationships. Research in the Intelligent Geocomputing Laboratory is funded by several NASA, NSF and EPA projects and selected applicants will be offered competitive research assistantships. Our Department also offers several teaching positions with tuition waivers and stipends.
