Workshop on Advanced LiDAR Data Processing and Applications

Students and young professionals working with remote sensing, GIS and in related Geosciences fields are invited to participate in the 6th International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Student Consortium (SC) Summer School. The week long school will focus on LiDAR (aerial and terrestrial) and its applications.


The highlights of this week long workshop:

  • Low registration fee ($150 for ASPRS members and ISPRS-SC members; $200 for others) that includes lodging and meals for one week
  • Instructors are LiDAR experts from Europe and the United States
  • Lectures on theory, concepts, and applications of LiDAR with hands on exercises
  • Young author session and paper presentation
  • A full day excursion to Wilmington or Myrtle Beach
  • Technical trip to Raleigh, NC for demonstrations of LiDAR projects
  • Chance to meet and interact with students/young professionals from around the world
  • First ISPRS SC Summer School in the United States
