Message from Standby Task Force

Hey Mapsters,

Just a reminder that the application for the Humanitarian Studies Initiative simulation is still open.

On April 26-29th, the Humanitarian Studies Initiative (HSI) will simulate a humanitarian crisis in an exciting weekend-long educational exercise at Harold Parker State Forest, just north of Boston, and the SBTF will be participating.

We would like to have a remote team online and a team on the ground in Boston, so please fill this form ONLY marking your availability if you are 100% sure that you will be available. The minimum required time is 2 consecutive hours. Once we know how many volunteers will be available to partecipate we will contact all of them for further organizational information.

If you want to know more about this simulation please have a look at the following links:

Please, feel free to contact me at anahi(at)standbytaskforce(dot)com if you have any question. I would like to encourage all new volunteers to partecipate because this is a great opportunity to learn how the SBTF works and what it is likely to happen in an emergency situation.
