We, in the Geolocation Team, are excited to announce a joint SBTF/HOT training session on 16 March at 20:00 GMT. This will be both a general introduction to OSM itself (including editing) & the HOT Team.
Time: March 16, 2013 from 8pm to 10pm
Location: Online
Organized By: Geolocation Team
Event Description:
Introduction to Open Street Map (OSM) techniques and the work of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT).
20:00-22:00 GMT/15:00-17:00 EST/11:00-13:00 PST
More details to come, but this will be a two-hour introduction to OSM in general, also to the very impressive work of the HOT team, one of our key partners. We will also cover some editing techniques, including with Potlatch.
For those who attended our OSM 101 course in 2011, there should be significant updates from that time.
See more details and RSVP on Standby Task Force.
