26th International Cartographic Exhibition
Dresden, Germany
August 25-30, 2013

The U.S. National Committee (USNC) to the International Cartographic Association (ICA) is soliciting maps and other cartographic items for the United States entries in the 26th International Cartographic Exhibition to be held in Dresden, Germany, August 25-30, 2013. The USNC must select materials for display in Dresden in compliance with numerical and space limitations imposed by the ICA. Items that can be submitted are categorized as paper maps, atlases, digital products, educational cartographic products, and other cartographic products including globes and tactile maps. All entries will be evaluated by a cartography jury during the Dresden ICC and winning entries will be selected in each category. All submitted items must be edited or modified after August 2011, the date of the last International Cartographic Exhibition. To submit an item to be considered for entry into the United States exhibit the item and a complete description must be provided as detailed in the following guidelines.

All entries must be submitted to E. Lynn Usery no later than March 15, 2013. Digital entries may be submitted as email attachments to usery@usgs.gov. Hardcopy paper maps, atlases, books, globes and other physical materials must be submitted to the following address:

Each submission must include a detailed description as documented by the Dresden ICC Local Organizing Committee on the following pages. This description should be emailed to usery@usgs.gov no later than March 15, 2013. The item to be exhibited and entered in the competition also must be delivered to E. Lynn Usery via email or at the above address on or before March 15, 2013.

By submitting an entry the product and the use of the winning products in analogue or digital form, is granted to ICA for further promotional use. After the ICC2013 display the analogue and digital winning entries remain available to ICA for further use and archiving
